These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ghoroa Hotel and Restaurant Android application and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service
The App allows customers to browse the Ghoroa Hotel and Restaurant menu, place food orders, choose delivery addresses, pay by Cash on Delivery, receive notifications, and track delivery status. The App also provides role-based features for delivery riders, kitchen staff, and restaurant admins.
2. Account and Phone Verification
- You may need to verify your phone number to use ordering features.
- You are responsible for keeping your phone number and account access secure.
- You must provide accurate and current account, address, and contact information.
- Restaurant staff, rider, and admin features are restricted to authorized users only.
3. Orders
- Orders are subject to restaurant acceptance, item availability, delivery coverage, and operating hours.
- Prices, delivery fees, discounts, taxes, and availability may change without prior notice.
- The restaurant may reject or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, the address is outside the delivery area, abuse is suspected, or the restaurant cannot fulfill the order.
- You are responsible for reviewing order details, address, phone number, and instructions before placing an order.
4. Payment
The App currently supports Cash on Delivery. You agree to pay the full order amount to the rider or restaurant representative at delivery. If online payments are added later, separate payment terms may apply.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates and may change due to preparation time, traffic, weather, rider availability, address accuracy, or other factors.
- You should be available at the provided phone number and delivery address after placing an order.
- If the rider cannot contact you or access the delivery location, the order may be delayed or cancelled according to restaurant policy.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Because orders are food items prepared on demand, cancellations may be limited after the restaurant accepts or starts preparing the order. Cash on Delivery orders normally do not involve online refunds. Any refund or adjustment is handled by the restaurant at its discretion and according to applicable law.
7. Coupons and Offers
- Coupons and offers may have minimum order values, expiry dates, usage limits, and item restrictions.
- Offers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- We may modify, suspend, or cancel coupons or offers if misuse, fraud, or technical errors are found.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or harmful activity.
- Submit false orders, false addresses, or misleading information.
- Access staff, rider, or admin features without authorization.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security of the App.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse restaurant staff, riders, customers, or support personnel.
9. Rider and Staff Use
Authorized riders and staff must use the App only for legitimate Ghoroa Hotel and Restaurant operations. Riders must share accurate delivery status and should enable live location only when required for delivery. Admin users are responsible for managing menu, orders, roles, coupons, and restaurant settings carefully.
10. Reviews and User Content
You may submit ratings, comments, or feedback. You are responsible for your content. We may remove content that is abusive, false, offensive, unlawful, irrelevant, or violates these Terms.
11. App Availability
We try to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, internet issues, Firebase or Google service interruptions, device issues, or events outside our control.
12. Intellectual Property
The Ghoroa name, branding, app design, menu content, logos, and related materials belong to Ghoroa Hotel and Restaurant or its licensors. You may not copy, misuse, or reproduce them without permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Ghoroa Hotel and Restaurant is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid or payable for that specific order, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
